I work as a Senior Software Engineer at Kovai.co for the past 6+ years.
How did you start your Career at Kovai.co?
Previously, I was working in an IT firm based in Bangalore. One of my friends attended an interview in Kovai.co through a job consulting company based in Chennai. During his interview, my friend referred me to the company. Thankfully, I attended the interview and got the opportunity to work at Kovai.co.
Do you remember how Kovai.co was during the early days?
I joined as a 9th employee in the organization. Those days, we used to have lots of fun among ourselves. Since it was like a typical Startup company, we were able to connect with every employee on a personal level. We used to give a treat to each other, listen to songs during work and there was a happy aura in the company.
What features did you actively involve in developing for Document360?
Right from the beginning, I owned a payment module for Document360. It was both challenging and helped me learned a lot about payment automation for a SaaS product. Apart from this, I also contributed to developing other modules but basically, payments were my core focus.
What’s your native place and how do you like Coimbatore?
I come from a small village called Karisalpatty in Dindigul district. I did my graduation and post-graduation in Coimbatore and I got used to living in this city. I am also happy to work in a place like Coimbatore.
Tell us something we don’t know about you.
Since I am from an agricultural family, I used to watch videos related to water irrigation, creating organic manure for plants, Honeybee farming, etc. I don’t have time for implementing what I have learned, but that doesn’t stop me from exploring.
What’s your hobby?
I used to spend time with my kid and watch useful videos.
