This year, Diwali came a little early for us, and we celebrated it five days ahead of time! Laughter and joy filled not just our Coimbatore office but reached all the way to our UK team.
Because at Kovai.co, no border can stop a celebration!
Diwali Celebrations at Kovai.co office
Our Diwali evening began with something new – a fun musical twist. We had to guess the song based on English-translated lyrics! Some were easy, others got everyone humming, laughing, and debating the right tune. It was the perfect icebreaker to kick off the evening.
Next came one of the most entertaining games of the evening – Recreate the Pose! From cute poses and dramatic “Zara” moments to nostalgic ones like Power Rangers, the floor was filled with laughter. Every team gave it their best shot (and funniest expression).
The Great Balloon Tower Battle
The competition got even louder when we split into teams for the Balloon Tower Challenge.
The goal was to build the tallest tower possible. The twist? It had to stand tall and win the loudest cheer! Some teams got creative, one team even managed to stick their tower to the ceiling to prove their height (points for innovation!).
The Ultimate Tug of War
No Kovai.co celebration is complete without a test of strength – Tug of War! Two fierce teams battled it out right in the office. After three intense rounds, the winning team claimed victory by taking two matches. The energy was unmatched, and the crowd’s cheers made it even better.

The evening wouldn’t be complete without a grand group photo – colorful balloons, bright outfits, and happy faces all around!
We also had a special Diwali standee where everyone struck their best festive poses, making sure the memories were captured perfectly.

Unwrapping the Diwali Hampers
The celebrations ended on the sweetest note – our Diwali hampers!
Each box carried a touch of festive spirit – from sweets and crispy murukkus to glowing diyas and adoring wooden dolls. The room instantly filled with smiles as everyone unwrapped theirs, eager to see which diya or doll they’d received. Little swaps, laughter, and comparisons followed, turning a simple moment into one of pure festive joy.
Across Borders, One Celebration
While our Coimbatore office was buzzing with games and laughter, our UK team had a Diwali celebration dinner. A cozy evening with great food, conversations, and smiles – a beautiful reminder that Diwali is all about togetherness, no matter where we are.
