At Kovai.co, every celebration is more than just an event—it’s a reminder of the joy that comes from sharing traditions, smiles, and memorable moments with colleagues. This Diwali, our office became a canvas of colours, traditions, and festive energy. With ethnic attire, dangles and hangings adorning every corner, the stage was set for celebration. Adding to the excitement, a special Diwali-themed photo booth with Kovai.co’s festive wishes became a popular spot – capturing happy moments as teams posed together, creating memories to cherish long after the lights dimmed.
Laughter and Games
The festivities kicked off on the step seater, a perfect setting for an evening filled with fun and friendly competition. We started with an ice-breaker session, where everyone shared their favourite childhood Diwali memories.
Next up was a twist on the classic Tambola game! With new and exciting rules, the game became a lively place, drawing in almost everyone. As participants eagerly waited to mark off their numbers, the buzz and anticipation created a fun atmosphere.
The Glitz and Glow contest
Next up was “Glitz and Glow” competition. Sai Deepika, Vaishnave, Kavisri, Poornima, Anand, and Kasim, stepped forward to showcase their talents. The competition unfolded in three different rounds:
The Witty Brain round – Diwali Edition Q&A, where the participants faced a rapid-fire round of questions testing their knowledge of all things Diwali. This round was a testament to their quick wit and festive spirit. Next was the Hidden Gem round, where our team members unveiled their hidden talents. Finally, it was the Radiant Walk round where the participants did a ramp walk in their ethnic attire.
The competition culminated in Anand and Poornima being crowned the winners of the Glitz and Glow event.

An evening with melodies and movements
The celebrations continued with a musical performance by Charles. His singing filled the air with beautiful melodies. It was followed by a lovely semi-classical dance performance by Sai Deepika and Sanchana.
A Sweet Ending with Diwali Delights
As the evening ended, everyone was presented with a traditional Diwali hamper which included delicious sweets, snacks, wild honey and a health drink. We finally wrapped it up with a group photo.
