Tell us about yourself.
I am Gayathri working in the Customer Relationship Team at Kovai.co. It’s been 2 plus years since joined here. Coordinating with the SDR team to ensure sales growth for the product Document360 and supporting customers at a right time is my prominent responsibility.
How did you start your Career at Kovai.co?
The career that I began with Kovai.co is something interesting. Yes. I was in an HR profile and searched for the same in the year 2018. I approached a few companies via LinkedIn, and I got an opportunity to connect with (Our CEO) Saravana.
Saravana gave an opportunity to work in the Marketing department initially as they did not have HR practices at that time and later, I got the opportunity to take care of Customer Relations.
What was your nature of work during the early days and what are your responsibilities today?
I was in the Marketing department for over 3 to 4 months initially. My job was to coordinate with the Digital Marketing functions, Publishing the blogs on the various blog posting site, Listing the Document360 product on the SaaS product listing site, Revamp the blogs with the SEO keywords, Answering queries in the Quora platform.
After that, I have been moved to the Client Relations department to attend to the new customer inquiry, providing a quality demo to the customer and assist them to purchase the product by rectifying the issues and queries they are facing. Also, providing robust support for customer queries and issues at the right time via various platforms like Ticketing and Chat.
What do believe should be the qualities of someone in the Customer Happiness Team?
The name itself has the word “Happiness”. Yes, the person should be happy in approaching, hearing, responding to the customer queries and feedback. You should be able to create trust with the customers by understanding their situation. You should be a problem solver, Keen to learn and apply in real-time activities.
What’s your native place and how do you like Coimbatore?
My native place is Erode and I came to Coimbatore for my PG studies (MBA) and got the job and settled over here. I am living here since the year 2012.
Tell us something we don’t know about you.
Personally, I am interested in international politics. I also like to explore and involve in a few social activities whatever I can do for now.
What’s your hobby?
Travelling and Adventure, Wild-life Photography, Spending time with my family.
