I am Saranya Ramakrishnan working as Technical QA Lead for BizTalk360.
How did you start your Career at Kovai.co?
After my studies, I started working in Chennai for almost 4 years in an IT organization. But since I was a Coimbatorean, I was always looking for opportunities in here. Through some Job portal, I learnt about Kovai.co, applied and luckily, got opportunity to join here as Senior Test Engineer.
Why did you choose Software testing as a career?
For me Software Testing is a Satisfactory job. Software testing is obviously looking the product from different aspects. You need good analytical and logical skills.
Product knowledge is an asset for every tester. Rather than just finding the bugs, a QA can suggest enhancement and improvement ideas there by contributing towards betterment of the product. It certainly is one of the most satisfactory job.
What’s the best part of your work at Kovai.co?
I was questioning myself for missing the development opportunity in previous organization. But after joining kovai.co, that thought was completely gone . Here as QA lead I am not only doing testing, I got lot of opportunity to work beyond testing in the product like handling release activities, Automation , Customer interaction etc
Tell us something we don’t know about you.
I am passionate towards shopping. If you allow me to shop, I will do it without food or anything else. Everyone knows this and my colleagues teases me as I receive some parcel shipped from Amazon or Flipkart regularly.

What’s your hobby?
We have a terrace garden which I take care of. I get most of the vegetables from this garden instead of purchasing from outside. So I love to maintain the garden.
Tell us 3 reasons why someone should work at Kovai.co?
First being, Kovai.co is always open for exploring the new technologies.
Next is Employee friendly environment – More than employee-employer relationship, they just ensure we are coming to work without any problem. In my case, due to my health issues Doctor suggested to take a break for a while. I wasn’t sure whether it’s possible to take long medical leave. so, I approached the management doubtfully. But without second thought our CEO, Saravana suggested to take a sabbatical leave.
I believe this is really important to consider how an employer supports us during our tough situation. The best part is, after my leave, my role remains the same. My value for the work I did was the same and I comfortably continued to work. I am very happy working for Kovai.co
Finally, Job Satisfaction – Whatever you do, end of the day job satisfaction is very important right. I can assure that here; all employees are working with fullest satisfaction.
