Every year, we at Kovai.co come together for one special day that reminds us of everything we have built together. This is not just an annual meet, it’s a celebration of people and progress. Kovision 2025 was exactly that. Held at Merlis, Coimbatore, the event brought the entire Kovai.co team under one roof for an afternoon-to-night celebration full of memories, team bonding, performances, and recognition.
Our people showed up in style, dressed in black and red, matching the mood for the night’s theme – Oscar Night!

Behind the Scenes: The Work Before the Wow
Planning for Kovision 2025 began a month in advance. From organizing internal performances by our people to inviting a well-known speaker, every detail was thoughtfully put together by our team and volunteers.
One key highlight in the lead-up was the nomination reveal campaign, where all nominees for the excellence awards were announced before the event. This set the tone by celebrating participation as much as the win. We had the excitement and anticipation built up for the big day.
Jessintha Johnson, Senior People & Culture Specialist says,
It’s not always about the prize. Sometimes, being seen is the first win.
On The Big Day
Pre-event activities included carnival games like Falling Sticks, Wooden Bottle Hook, and Arcade Boxing. A 360° video booth drew crowds with fun group clips. As with every year, we had a lucky draw where everyone was assigned a unique number. The lucky winners this year were Mohammad Faruk Senior Manager – IT, Koushik Pillalamarri, Director – GTM Enablement, and Manikandan Raju, Frontend – Product Engineering, adding to the cheers.

Icebreakers and Beats
The event began on a high note with an interactive performance led by the Wambooka tribe. We burst balloons, blew trumpets, and synced together to create music using the Wambooka drum lit in green playing in the dark. It brought our entire team, including the leadership team, together, and we enjoyed the dance that followed.
Akash Sivaraman, Senior Product Support Engineer says,
Kovision 2025 was unforgettable! Being part of the Wambooka and the dance performance gave me memories I will always hold on to.
We had a graceful blend of classical and fusion style of dance performed by Gowri Ramkumar, our VP of Sales. This was followed by an opening address from our Founder and CEO, Saravana Kumar, sharing reflections on our journey and vision forward.

Special guests for the evening
We were joined by Mr. Gopinath Chandran, popularly known as Neeya Naana Gopinath, who shared thought-provoking insights on adapting to AI, the impact of change, and the importance of continuous learning. His session had both laughs and moments to pause.

We had a Splash Painting performance by the artist Jinna. It was a live art that had a portrait of our CEO along with elements like “$100 Mn” and an upward graph that visually captured our growth story.
The Storybook Launch
We officially launched The Kovai.co Storybook, a printed version of our 14-year journey. Our CEO, Saravana Kumar did the honours, followed by a special gesture of handing copies to our newest joiners.
Saravana Kumar, CEO of Kovai.co says,
I have always loved the feel of a book. Capturing our journey in a form we can hold, flip through, and remember, that’s something special.

Spotlight on Internal Performances
Kovision 2025 saw enthusiastic internal participation across multiple performance categories. Themed “Game On”, our ramp walk brought popular games like Chess, Lego, Carrom, and Cards to the stage in creative fashion. A group of 12 team members danced to a mix of old favourites and trending songs, bringing energy to every beat.

A live theatre act titled “Korea to Codissia” added laughter to the evening with its light-hearted humor. We had our people performing a choral performance using instruments like bongos and drums, blending rhythm and vocals. We also had Mohammed Kasim Bahad Software Engineer – Front End, perform a mime act focused on our soldiers and patriotism.
Ajit Praveen Karal, Intern – SDR says,
Kovision was my first-ever corporate event. Being part of the ramp walk and theatre performance helped me meet new people and feel truly connected.
Recognising Our People
This year, over 100 of our people were recognized across all the award categories. The service awards honoured those who completed 3, 5, 7, and 10 years at Kovai.co, including 5 of us who reached a decade with us. Their dedication was marked with a certificate and a gold coin from our CEO. Excellence awards spanned multiple categories such as Technical Excellence, Sales Star, Marketing Maestro, Galactic, Stellar, Value Awards, and the coveted CEO Award, each a reflection of outstanding contributions across departments. Sports achievements were also celebrated with winners and runners-up from KPL, Carrom, Badminton, and Cricket receiving recognition. The applause that followed every name is the appreciation that lit the room.

Wrapping Up the Day
Before closing, we acknowledged the efforts of our internal event organizers with a special thank-you note and gift vouchers. Everyone received a bag with the Kovai.co logo, and a copy of the Kovai.co Storybook as a return gift, making it a keepsake for all.
The evening ended with a delicious multi-cuisine dinner, plenty of photos, and endless conversations. Finally, the energy shifted to the dance floor with DJ Yash, who kept the beats going late into the night.

And with that, Kovision 2025 ended, leaving us with memories, milestones, and moments to carry forward.
