PM CARES Fund
On March 28th, 2020, the Prime Minister’s Office of India released a notification requesting the people of the country and corporate to generously donate to the PM CARES Fund. The fund was exclusively created to help the government in controlling the spread of coronavirus.
In the first week of April 2020, the effect of coronavirus in India was minor compared to other countries but it was fast spreading to almost all the states across India. The Government took several initiatives to control the community spread of the virus.
We matched employee contribution to PM CARES Fund
Our CEO, Saravana Kumar announced that the organization will match the contribution made by our employees and the combined amount will be donated to the PM CARES fund. This encouraged many of our employees to contribute as it doubles the amount being contributed.
For those who have already contributed to PM CARES fund and state CM PRF, we requested for the receipt which was also considered for matching contribution.
We will be following the situation in the months to come and will be supporting the Government and the local community to the best of our ability.
